Hell's Gate National Park

Hell's Gate is unlike any other national park in Kenya. For a start, it's the only one where you're allowed to get out of your vehicle to walk and cycle. That's because the park is largely free of predators, leaving the zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes and rock hyraxes (and human visitors) to roam without fear. The red-rock cliffs of Hell's Gate Gorge are stunning with some weird-and-wonderful rock formations, and the narrow Lower Gorge is a wonderful place to explore.
